Rodan

Met up with Justin, post-work, for a few drinks at Rodan. Before leaving work, Ben and I swapped cameras. He was looking to take some higher-res photos, and so we traded.

This shot I took right when I arrived at Rodan. I messed around a bit, snapping a few photos here and there before anyone really showed up.

Neat design on the wall, right when you walk in. I wish I would have lessened the flash just a little bit to remove the glare.

Justin and I had some great talks tonight. He was in a super mood, as he just found out that the tech folks at Apple were able to recover a majority of his data (his computer tanked a few days ago, and he was worried about losing a crapton of work). We did the work gossip thing for a bit (he’s also been under the weather lately and working from home). And then we compared notes on personal projects. Lots of positive vibes on all fronts.

We hung out until maybe 9:30 or so, right when folks started to trickle in. A part of me thought about sticking around a bit longer, but lately… I’m trying to conserve my energies. Both Justinand Chris have been sick recently, and I want to make sure I avoid a late-winter cold. Also, I know the coming week is going to bring with it some long hours and late nights. I guess I’m just on the lookout.
