Off to DC!
Heading in for a half day at work, then boarding a plane for DC. We’ll be there for a few days visiting our friends Lisa and James (who were just in town a few days ago). And, of course, to spend a bit of time with Baby Cameron.
Jake’s joining us for the trip on Friday, and it should be a fun and relaxing weekend. No huge agenda yet, but I do have a few places I’m hoping to visit.
I’ve been to DC once before, but that was ages ago when I was barely double digits. I attended the National Boy Scout Jamboree, but couldn’t tell you anything else I did. I travelled by car from Indianapolis to DC with friends of the family, and I remember trading sew-on patches with other boys from other states. That’s about it.
So – this time around, I’m hoping to take some photos and record a little more. The blog will be going quiet for a few days, until we get back.
