Arriving at Adam’s Inn, Washington DC
Liz and I arrived in DC at night, and took the train to the Adams Morgan neighborhood. After a brief trek from the train stop and a phone call (where would we be without cellphones), we found our way to the Adam’s Inn down a quiet side street.
Inside, it was pretty quiet as everyone else was asleep. This is a quick view of the living room.
A side room, with computer and Internet access.
An old bell in the hallway by the kitchen. I doubt it’s used anymore, but I wonder if it was here when the house was first built.
A peek into the main dining area.
Stairs up to the rooms.
Our room. In the mornings, the sunlight through the windows was so strong that it was like an alarm clock. It was kind of nice, actually.
The room was toasty warm (thanks to radiators in the bedroom and adjoining bathroom).
