Gobtron: Fun (And Gross) Defense Game
From the creators of Burrito Bison, the game company Juicy Beast has another fun game that I discovered over the weekend. Gobtron is also fantastically addictive (and more than a little gross, in its premise).
You play as a very large creature named Gobtron. Nearby villagers are afraid of you (and for good reason), so it’s a literal David vs. Goliath battle going on. Except that instead of a sling and stone, you’re a giant who slings snot.
As you consume villagers, you’re able to take their DNA and mutate additional abilities. The game starts slowly at first, but with each new wave of villagers… more and more people show up to fight you.
A silly game, but I love that it makes me feel 5 years old playing it. If you enjoyed this, there are a few other games on their website that you might want to check out.
