Phineas Has Your Back

Phineas and Liz have this understanding they’ve built up, over the years. From time to time, if Phineas is at an elevated location (the stairs, or the top of the cottage) and is there waiting… Liz will wander over, and position herself nearby.

And then Phineas will hop onto her back. He’ll hang out there for a little bit, and when he’s ready he jumps down to the ground. I’ve never tried anything like this with him, but it’s an unspoken back and forth that Phineas and Liz have between them.

It also happens pretty quickly, so I was happy to finally capture one of these moments on camera.
