Early Morning Trench Work

A bit of a scramble this morning. Liz had a belated birthday event today, and so we just had the morning to get some more back porch work done before tomorrow’s big pour.

We still needed to dig the trenches alongside the edges… and to also put down enough gravel everywhere.

Liz nad I got started around 9:30 AM and were working furiously until about 12:30 PM. There was a bit of rain, but we just kept on powering through.

Really touch and go this morning, but we got enough done to put ourselves in a decent spot for tomorrow’s big cement pour. Just barely.
