Saturday Errands

Liz and I were out and about today, out in the suburbs running errands. One of our main stops: Rebuilding Exchange (in Evanston).

Liz was on the lookout for an older window. But we mostly just browsed around. While the windows were fewer than we had hoped, there wer definitely a lot of doors.

A lot.

$120 for a few courses of Chicago Common Brick. Nice to know a ballpark price for what we have at our place.

This looked like a super fun toy, but I have no idea what it’s actually used for. Found on the “Free Rack.”

// Edit: so it’s an epoxy gun.

I love that there are signs clarifying the free rack is just the items that are free. The rack itself is not free.

Looking through some windows.

We found a small bit of material that seemed like a good size reference, for a Hallowee idea we’ve got.

Liz, in her natural Fall habitat… collecting gourds for the front yard.
