Planting and Deck Chairs

A really fun thing about our kitchen view: you can occasionally see deer in the backyard, while washing dishes.

On a grocery run, I spotted something you don’t usually see on the North side – Dolly Party pancake mix.

Liz, working on potting up the two large vases we got a Costco a while back.

Plants in place, waiting to be put in the ground.

Note: the soil here is just rough. A lot of clay, and really, really difficult to dig into. So much work, just to get a single guy into the ground.

More plants for the yard.

Newly refinished deck chairs.

A good place to watch for deer.

Those chairs really look nice, against the fresh wood of the deck.
