Justin Gets Things Rolling

I woke up early today, around 8 AM, and logged some hours in on fine tuning the rough interface for the radio station project (Warning: Requires the Flash plug-in). I got the basic mechanics working with blobs of color. The game is a "matching" game, where baby pictures of radio station DJ’s (that’s jocks, if you want to use the fancy lingo) are matched up with their adult images.

I went to Justin’s around 10 AM, and we headed to the Q101 Station Office. Justin and Dave have an awesome apartment. I really need to do more with my own space. Theirs is open, friendly, funky, fun. I’ve got little to nothing on my walls. I’ve gotta invest some time and improve my living quarters… it was somewhat respectable when Carolyn was visiting, but now it’s back to it’s old horrific state.

Justin does a wide range of things for Emmis Interactive, and manages about a gazillion sites. He’s one of the smartest motherfuckers I know. I can’t say enough nice things about him.

At Q101, we went over some the game parameters, and after about an hour or so, I left for home. Justin sent me his photoshop file of the layout, and I proceeded to bring it into Flash.
