Employed!

Rey called me into his office today, and we had a talk about my role with the Interactive Team. He gave me an offer for a full-time position, and I accepted immediately. So… gainful, permanent employment once more. Freelancing was nice while it lasted, what with paid overtime. But full-time work is equally good, with benefits and the such.

It’s a bit mixed. I know so many good talented designers right now who are struggling to find work. And I slip into this job easily, with me having less abilities than many of the folks I talk to on a daily basis. I guess there’s some guilt here, feeling like I lucked into this situation while so many others are pounding the pavement and going through some tough times.
