En Route

As I walked to the Division stop to meet up with Dave, I noticed a Chinese restaurant on Milwaukee that I hadn’t seen before. I actually stopped walking and looked at the sign for a good long while.

This reminded me of Invader Zim, a cartoon that I got introduced to a while back. The basic premise is that a bunch of aliens (Irkens) are trying to take over the universe. The cartoon opens up with all of the aliens gathering together, and the leaders unveiling their secret plan, which they’ve titled "Operation Impending Doom II."

Which is hysterical, because it implies there was a failed "Operation Impending Doom I." :)
