My Parents: Cool, or Weird?

When I was home, I spent Saturday night watching this really cool Chinese Kung-Fu movie (technically called "Hero") with them. It had Jet Liin it, along with that girl from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. All in Chinese, and not subtitled for English. They spent a good hour translating bits and pieces for me (some I could pick up, some I had to ask), and it rocked.

I’m betting (and hoping) they’re planning on subtitling this film for distribution in the states. The cinematography was excellent, and the entire hour that I saw was breathtakingly gorgeous. On top of that, the fight scenes made Crouching Tiger seem like an episode of Sesame Street.

And then… I end up making some Ramen they gave me… and I wonder…
