Pinback

I first heard pinback a long while ago, when I met a girl named Heather while waiting for the Blue Line. Actually, the specific first time I heard this group was in Heather’s car, when we were hanging out a few days later.

I don’t really know their music all that well, but I ventured onto their site during that time and downloaded a few mp3’s that I liked. Right now, I’m listening to Lyon , which I think sounds a bit more like them than Manchuria. Keep in mind, I’ve heard a total of four songs from them.

That whole time was a bit strange: I had just been let go; I was starting a new job; Heather and I met up randomly, and began hanging out. Over the next few months, the calls became less and less frequent, and we slowly stopped talking. I’m not sure if it was me, or her, or both. A little random, a little sad. So it goes.
