Debugging Nightmare

Today, Chris and I worked all day on getting a flash site up and running. Towards the tail end of our time setting things up, we run into a snag.

Long and short of it? We were accidentally overwriting one another’s files. We were working on two separate elements, but had the same filename. And each time we saw a different result testing things out… it led us down different paths trying to “fix” the problem (when in reality, we were just stepping on each other’s toes).

Immensely frustrating, and I’m still in disbelief that something so simple tripped the two of us up for so long.
