Danny’s

It’s been almost two weeks since Justin decided to take a break from booze. Tonight, he and I decided to stop over at Danny’s and break that streak. We had maybe two rounds, and watched as the Friday night crowd rolled in, filling up the joint.

We heard some really great soul music from the DJ (I forget his name offhand). And I went so far as to ask him about a particular song he played that I really liked (The Southside Movement).

Chris ended up joining us after a bit, and near midnight we all parted ways. Justin decided to stick around for a bit on his own, and Chris and I went off to go see Matt’s band play, at their CD release party.
