Goodbye, Jennifer. Sorta.

It’s been a little over four months since Jennifer joined our office. And while we knew this was a temporary desk assignment for her, it was a bit of a shock to see her packing up today.

Today was a sort-of goodbye to Jennifer, who is relocating to an actual office on the other end of the building. And although she was fairly quiet during her stay with us, I derived no small degree of pleasure whenever I’d catch her laughing at one of our stupid jokes or one-liners. It’s weird now, to look over and to see just an empty desk.
