AS 2.0

The past few weeks, I’ve been trying to wrap my head around Classes and coding in Actionscript 2.0. At each turn, I feel like I’m wading through molasses. I keep reading over examples, but actual comprehension seems to elude me. I haven’t had this hard of a time learning something in… well, in a really long time.

I think I’m a fairly smart guy. But lately, every line of code I create, every sentence I read in my manual… it just makes me feel that much more incapable. I guess I’m learning, but the pace is such that it feels glacial. And try as I might, I can’t seem to learn faster – it’s just not happening.

The past few weeks haven’t been a very pleasant time on the work front. I’ve been feeling pretty stupid for like a month now.
