The Crawl: Chicago Public Radio

The piece on Dave aired today on Chicago Public Radio. It was great to hear about the creation process, and how Dave went about “building” his songs, layering elements one on top of the other.

What I like best about hearing Dave is how often he laughs. Even when talking about his process and the various sounds he’s explored… there’s a sense of delight and fun in the tone of his voice. Right after he says “cheap plastic bass,” right there… you can tell he loves and enjoys what he does. :)
