Goodbye, Nick

After almost two years with us at Emmis Interactive, Nick is saying goodbye. He got a position as the user interface designer at Groupon, where he will be starting sometime later this month.

Nick was around in the early days, brought on a few months after we first moved to State and Jackson. The Design team was probably half of what it is today, and he helped to get many of our first clients up and running on our CMS. Hard to believe that was two years ago.

I know Nick is very interested in user interface design, and the new position seems like it’s a good fit – it’s definitely a topic he’s passionate about. Case in point his book project, Cadence & Slang, which he’s funding via Kickstarter. You should swing on by and take a look/listen.

Good luck, Nick, with both the new job and the final days of the Kickstarter project. Sounds like some exciting (and busy) times ahead!
