Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and the Most Amazing Theremin Playing You’ve Ever Seen: Two Kindsa Love
My old college roommate Jim was the first person I met who was really into The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. There are a few songs from them that remind me very much of college, but I have to say… I never much got into the band.
When I think of this group – I think very muc of Jim. And I have to say… on seeing this video – I’m now wondering why I didn’t check out more of their music. I’m in awe of the sound that just the three of them can generate.
I found this video just captivating. Stick around past the first minute for the antics to kick in, and for some of the most badass theremin playing you’ve ever seen or heard. Wow!
