Hozier: Take Me To Church
Another song by Hozier that I’ve gotten stuck on lately is Take Me to Church. I’ve been playing the first two songs from his album pretty incessantly, and really digging both of them a great deal.
Sadly, I don’t think I have the same affection for the other songs in the album. But it’s possible that I haven’t really given those songs much of a chance either, as I’ve been looping the first two songs so much. Maybe in another month or two, I’ll have moved on a little more.
What impresses me most with this video is that it’s a live recording – and Hozier sounds just as good live, as he does on the album. He strikes me as someone who would fantastic to see live.
