Early Watering

Woke up early this morning (5AM) to get the watering started for the lawn. We have a walking sprinkler, which travels along the length of the hose… but the timing of it is kind of questionable. On the “slow” setting it took an incredibly long time… so I got up early to ensure it had enough time to complete (also switched it to a faster setting).

While the walking sprinkler is doing its thing, I also used our neighbor’s sprinkler to hit a few specific areas. Still trying to figure out a good process, and to avoid over-watering… but slowly getting into a routine here.

It’s super early, and though I’m tired – it’s nice to have something that forces me out of bed. I haven’t been able to resume my habit of getting up to work in the early hours, so maybe the new watering routine will shift my schedule up some. There’s a bit of rain in the forecast, but I expect to be doing this early rising for the next two weeks at least.
