Spotted this guy, just hanging out in a rain gutter. Not a care in the world. The day was a little too hot to do anything, and he had nowhere to be, really.

I was thinking of other, more motivated squirrels. And imagining this guy to be a sullen teenager, whose mother kept asking him when he was going to get a job. And him just thinking quietly to himself “I can’t wait until I get my own place.”
