More Bugs = More Fun

Liz purchased some expansion pieces for our copy of Hive.

This has really been our to-go game of late. Each game has a lot of variety, there’s a lot of back and forth between who wins, and the games overall are fairly quick (maybe 15 minutes or so).

We’ve by no means mastered the game, but introducing these newer pieces definitely mixes things up a bit.

We’ve only played with the ladybug so far though. Trying to incorporate two new pieces felt like a bit much, so we’re going one at a time.

I honestly thought I’d be turned off at the whole bug theme/design, but this game is really just delightful. It’s a lot of fun, and incredibly re-playable. And now we’ve got a few more bugs in the mix.
