Yoann Bourgeois: Celui Qui Tombe

After my previous post on the aerial dance company BANDALOOP, I was remembering a specific performance that involved a spinning/rotating stage.

Thanks to YouTube, I was able to track it down. It was a piece by Yoann Bourgeois, entitled Celui qui tombe (“He Who Falls”).

I’m not well versed in dance, but I really enjoy these combinations of motion and the exploration of physical spaces. I’m also quite taken at how stories/narratives emerge, between the dancers, as the piece continues onward.
