Perspective

The weather was incredibly great today, and Liz and I spent some time just sitting on the front steps… watching the sun slowly set.
In the distance, I noticed the car on the other side of our parkway. I immediately thought the driver as a complete jerk, noting how close they were to the car behind them.
Liz and I were both talking about the parking job, and were laughing a bit to ourselves. And then, on thinking about things a bit more… we realized a few things.
First, it’s entirely possible the car on the left was the offender, and it was that car that parked too close to the black car.
Also – the black car was actively trying to avoid bleeding into our driveway, thereby preventing us from pulling in/out. So the driver of the black car was being incredibly thoughtful towards our driveway/space.
It was an interesting turn of events, from my initial reactions/assumptions, to what happened after I stopped to think and consider the situation a little more. A nice lesson, particularly in this day and age where social media is so quick and prevalent.
