The Brownie Incident

Liz was baking some brownies (our kitchen is still sans stove, so we do most everything on the grill). Things were fine, but it turns out she was a little early in trying to get the brownies out of the pan.

Out of a fear of the bottom burning/sticking, she tried to flip the brownies out. But what happened instead was that the entire brownie started falling out in thin layers.

For the remainder of the afternoon, Liz was in and out of the kitchen… picking at the pieces. And, according to her, “eating her shame.”

I think it’s safe to say that mistakes were made. Delicious, delicious mistakes.
