Whiskey Escape
Tonight, Liz and I hung out with Mark and Anna at their place. It’d been a while since we last visited (and it was a bigger group), and we had a nice time catching up.
One fun thing we did – we got to utilize not one, but two Christmas gifts we had received. One was a nice bottle of Macallan (Harmony Collection, Vibrant Oak), and the other was a “Whiskey Escape Room” game.

The premise: you lock a bottle in a cage. And then everyone works together to answer trivia questions about whiskey (and whisky), to then determine the combination to the lock.
The clues were spread out across four different countries (USA, Japan, Scotland, Ireland). On reading the rules, I thought we just had to work through one country (there were like 20 questions per country). Well, I was wrong. It ended up being a tremendous number of cards to go through, which seemed… a bit much.
Still, it was fun to play a “game” of sorts, and I did end up learning a few new things. The prize was definitely worth it.
