Hazel Gets Bold

Of late, we’ve let Hazel have the full run of the first floor (Hugo’s been relocated temporarily upstairs, while we try to find him a friend).

For the most part, she’s comfortable on the carpeted areas but treats the bare floor like laval. However, I happened to catch this today:

Hazel got a bit bold, and found a way to get to the stairs!

She was even bolder, and moved up to the second step!

Of course, this is worrying because her balance is still not good. And if she took a tumble (which is a high probability), she might hurt herself.

But it’s good to see her with so much energy and fearlessness, even if she did a bit of a nosedive on her way off the stairs.
