Watching Adam and Norm create this machine from scratch was a delight. There is something great about watching nerds in their nerd zone, totally nerding it up. It’s amazing.

Thomas Kuntz makes some pretty sweet automata, but the one that stands out for me is entitled Une Saison En Enfer. It features Paul Verlaine seated at a Parisian cafe, drinking absinthe and experiencing a series of ghostly encounters (one with the “Green Fairy,” naturally).
