Study Buddy

Justin mentioned taking a day out of the week to just hunker down somewhere and study. He’s been doing this off and on for a while now, and we talked about making it a set weekly thing. God knows there’s tons of stuff I could read up on, and I could even use it as a chance to get some more work putting together a manuscript I could submit to first-book competitions. Poetry stuff.

He mentioned the Holiday Inn that’s connected to our building, right across the Merchandise Mart on Orleans. On the 15th floor, there seems to be a lounge area that’s open to the public (we think), and has a bar. Rock! No one else is going to be there, so it sounds like an ideal place.

We’ll see how much studying *cough* drinking *cough* we accomplish.
