MaryAnn!

I got a phone call from MaryAnn tonight. Man, I’ve been really bad about keeping in touch with folks I know in the city. MaryAnn invited me out a long while back, and it’s been way too long since we’ve hung out.

But – in our catch-up converastion, we talked about old MFA friends from when we were in graduate school, and decided we were going to hang out this week. She mentioned a festival that’s going to be near her place in July: the Folk & Roots Festival. It sounds like a lot of fun, and in addition to all the good fair food, I’m sure it’ll be a good opportunity to take photos.

We have plans to go see something at the Siskel, and maybe catch some dinner beforehand. Turns out, we both work fairly close to one another, so some food and movie works out pretty well.
