Uncle Felix

I’m an uncle! I got a call from my sister today, and she told me the good news. Looks like the due date’s going to be right on December 25th!

Funny thing – in Chinese families, anyone who’s even remotely related is called “Auntie” or “Uncle,” regardless if they’re actually part of your family or not. This marks my first, official arrival into unclehood.

I told my sister this, but I want it here too, on the record. I plan to give two separate gifts, each year: one birthday, one Christmas.
