Strange Skies

I headed out today to North Avenue to grab some food. On my way out, I noticed some incredible cloud formations the likes of which I don’t think I had ever seen before. Stupid me, I didn’t have my camera on me. I need to remember to always, ALWAYS bring the fucker with me everytime I go anywhere.

By the time I got back home, dropped off my food, grabbed my camera, and went back to where I was standing on North Ave… the cloud formation was gone. Marshmallows are the closest description I can find. Just a long string of these things, squarish and rounded, in a line across the sky. Very weird.

When I got back North and Wood, half the sky was taken over with this enormous cloud, and there was this arc beyond which… normal sky. While a lot of what you’ll see below may be off, color-wise, due to my camera… it’s all fairly close to what I saw. Crazy colors like I really haven’t seen before. I was pretty convinced a tornado was on its way.
