Sales Breakfast

Every year around this time, the Sales Department hosts a big shindig of a breakfast, for the entire station. Here’s a shot of Ben (in the back) and Nick, serving up pancakes and omelettes. There’s always a big line for Nick’s cooking, and eveyone leaves their ingredients in a bowl with a post-it and their choice of cheese. This year, it was maybe 45 minutes for my order to make its way through the queue.

I had a Bloody Mary to get the day going, and ended up stopping shortly after the one. This year, for some reason, felt more subdued. We had people from the Loop over, but there felt like less people in the conference room. Maybe it was something to do with Chris, MattMike and Rey all being gone. Fun times, but it felt less raucous.

For lunch, Angie, Ben, Justin and I headed over to Deb’s hotel room. She’s recovering from sugery, and we did this picnic-type thing in her room, talking shop and getting caught up a bit.
