Check out this great webcam time-lapse of the demolition that’s happening over at the Sun-Times building. Persist works in the IBM building next door, and they set up a camera to capture all the activity. Keep an eye out for the snow as it builds, and also look for the fire that broke out on December 29th (look to the bottom right for the timestamp).

On seeing this, I thought of Rachelle’s site, a blog I stumbled across some months back. She’s been documenting the demolition process in her own way, and there are a ton of great links and photographs (particularly the ones that peek inside to some of the rooms).
