Late day

Stuck around the office until around 9-ish with Justin and Kashif. Made some progress I’m actually happy about for the music testing project I’m working on.

Afterwards, I hopped over to Inner Town with Justin for a few drinks. Happened to see Cammie there, and shot a few games of pool (I wasn’t really on top of things tonight, though). Michael stopped in again, and the three of us eventually made our way over to Clubfoot.

Ran into Kristen while at Clubfoot, who I haven’t seen in a long while. Also ended up talking with several of her friends. I met another MFA grad named Annika, and the two of us geeked out a bit about grad school. I also met Francine, who is affiliated with a Chicago-based group called Verge. There was some mention of a Valentine’s Day project which, the more I look over, seems immensely tempting.

One of these days, I need to make some business cards for the blog I think. The whole night, I was writing down the address in my notebook, and ripping pages out of the back. I don’t mind so much (hey, the more people that visit this thing, the better), but it seems like it might make the whole URL exchange a bit easier.
