Spraypaint, Front Steps

Liz recently bought some curtain ties. Is that what they’re called? Ties? Holders?
I dunno. Whatever they’re called – they’re things that hold the curtains back. However, she didn’t care for the color, and set out to spraypaint the petals a darker shade (Colonial Red was the color, I believe).

We had a fun evening, just sort of lazing around. We set up shop on the front steps, where Liz sprayed and allowed the holders to dry.
I, for my part, was sitting. And holding a beer. And helping… drink… the beer.
It was cool to just hang out in front of the door, right there on Division watching the world walk by. Most people turned their heads a little, to see what Liz was working on. And a lot of folks smiled and nodded, which leant a bigger “neighborhood” feel to the evening.

The finished product. Man, that red is pretty fantastic. I need to remember that in the future – Colonial Red.
