Stein Game

We had an after-work poker game today: and it was a Stein Game to boot! Allison was the last winner of the coveted Lord and Master™ stein, and put it up for grabs on tonight’s game.

In addition to the buy-in ($10 each), the winner also got to keep the hefty amount of change that had accumulated in the stein – back when we used to play the ball game. One of these days, before we move out of our current digs… we’ll need another game to determine who gets all that change.

Mike, skilled player that he is, finally gets the coveted Stein. Chris took second, and I came in third.

Mike’s had a good run lately with poker (I think he won $700 or so in an unofficial tourney a few weeks back).

Ah well. This won’t last – it’s been too long since I’ve held the Stein, and I want another crack at it. Hopefully these poker games will become more frequent, despite how tricky it is sometimes to get everyone’s schedule coordinated.
