On the (Long) Way Home
Tonight was a crazy evening of travel. On the Blue Line heading back home, we were at a standstill for about 20+ minutes at the Chicago station. No reason, no announcements – just stopped. After waiting as long as we could, me, Chris and TJ got off the train and went up to the street to catch a bus.
Well, to be more accurate… Chris and TJ woke me up from my little nap, and then we went up to catch a bus.
To make things worse, on the Milwaukee bus… near the Milwaukee and Division intersection, a woman turned in front of the bus and *hit* a bicyclist. Pretty scary stuff, as it happened in plain view, right next to the bus. I heard a ton of people go “Oooh!” and saw a guy with his bike up on the woman’s windshield.
Bad night to be out and about.
that was no fun..but it ended up working in my favor so I could grab my house keys from a friend who was going to meet Comcast (who never showed up). Burn Comcast you!
