SpaceTime Sensory Deprivation Tanks: An Unexpected Reminder
Liz and I were looking around in Quimby’s on Friday, and I spotted this pamphlet near the front of the store:
It totally caught me off guard, and reminded me of my sensory deprivation experience at SpaceTime Tanks. I had this “wait, I’ve been there before” moment… and I was just surprised (and puzzled) to see it in a bookstore.
Hard to believe that my first outing there was over five years ago. I went back for another visit in 2005, but haven’t tried it again since.
Weird to be reminded of this, in a store. One minute I was browsing around, looking at books; the next minute I was frozen in place, suddenly thinking about being naked in an enclosed tank of saltwater.
I went twice too! Back in late 80’s. Someone must like it.
