April Flu

Slow news day today. Mostly because I’ve spent the better part of the last 24 hours in the couch or in bed.

Late Monday morning, my stomach started to hurt a little bit. From there, things slowly devolved into general nausea, fever and all the aches and pains one typically associates with the flu. By the evening, I was sipping chicken noodle soup and all my bones hurt.

Though I made it through the Winter without an illness, I always seem to get sick at least once per year. I like how I missed the flu, only to catch it right at the start of April. It seems silly to me.

Today was a couch day, and I watched a ton of movies as a result. I’ve slept a TON in the past two days, and I still walk around yawning and tired. Not sure what the deal is.

Blegh.

  2. That’s the flu. Drives its big flu truck over you back and forth five or six times and then leaves you to recover for about a week. Sleep a lot and enjoy the weird dreams.
