O’Keeffe’s Working Hands Cream: For Dry Hands That Crack and Split

Lately, my hands have been getting pretty dry. And I’m talking more than just dry skin – I’ve got several fingertips that have split, and each one is like a very short but fairly deep paper cut.

It’s a small annoyance, but it adds up. Thankfully typing hasn’t been problematic, but other things (like zippers or opening bags) tend to have a pinprick-like quality to them, in this condition. At first it was just one thumb, but then it spread to the other thumb. And then a few more fingers. It got to the point where regular lotion wasn’t really cutting it.

Lo and behold, while we were at Home Depot (of all places), I happened to see O’Keeffe’s Working Hands in the paint aisle. Kind of a weird place to find hand cream, but… it looked pretty spot-on in terms of what I needed, so I decided to give it a go. It’s been about 36 hours now, and I’m happy to say that this thing works pretty darn well.

I’ve put on the stuff at night, before bed, and that’s helped a lot. I’ve also taken to putting it on at the start of my work day. It leaves a bit of a greasy film, but I haven’t minded too much. It’s odorless, so the only issue is the slight greasy feel, when it’s on your fingers and hands.

But it works great! My fingertips are slowly returning to normal, and so consider this an official endorsement! It’s not cheap by any means, but in terms of reasons why you should get this if you need it? Well, I can count the reasons on both hands…
