Shopping for New Clothes

This really is just a post for me, as it likely won’t mean much of anything to anyone else. I’ve gone a long while without having gotten any new clothes… and my wardrobe as of now pretty much consists of the same t-shirt (varying colors) and jeans.
With a recent change in diet (Liz and I have been trying to more closely monitor what we eat, calorie-wise), I’ve lost a decent amount of weight. I’ve been meaning to write up this big blog post about the process, but just haven’t quite gotten around to doing that yet.
At any rate – in a nutshell, I started out at 207 and as of this morning I clocked in at 188.8. So darn near 20 pounds, gone due to just changing what I’ve been eating. So as a result, a lot of my clothes aren’t fitting me anymore (although truth be told, they were pretty baggy to begin with).
So last night, Liz helped me hit up a few stores and we did a little shopping. The first of many excursions.

Meg (August 13, 2015 at 3:13 pm)Thanks, Meg! Sorry for not posting more photos of the actual articles of clothing. Still working on getting some things put together – slowly but surely.
And after all my practice helping hem items, I get to have a few items hemmed for me! Exciting times…

Juliet (August 16, 2015 at 1:19 am)Thanks, Juliet! It’s a compulsive kind of salad strategy, but seems to be doing the trick.
