Mipso: Do You Want Me?
This week, I went back and listened to more of Mipso – and once more just fell in love with their songs. While I really like their latest album (Old Time Reverie), I’m also enjoying their previous one: Dark Holler Pop.
This song, Do You Want Me?, is from that earlier album. The audio quality in this video is a little harsh at times, but it’s the best version I could find out there. Listen to a cleaner/better version on Spotify.
One of my favorite moments of the song is the key change near the end (around 2:40 in the video). All of the band members sound so lovely, when their voices come together. Reminds me a lot of The Lone Bellow.
