The Sins of the Past

parkingTickets
Spotted this while walking in to work, a few days ago. I first noticed the ticket on the windshield, and it took me another second to spot the one on the inside, sitting on the dash.

I assume this sort of things happens all the time for people doing deliveries in downtown Chicago. But it was just funny to see a ticket on the windshield, and one in the cab that had still not been handled yet.

Perhaps it’s par for the course, in the day of someone who manages a large vehicle, downtown. Perhaps at the end of the day, it’s a symbol of how much they’ve worked – walking back into the office, handing over a stack of parking tickets to the office admin that handles such things.

“Wow, someone’s been busy.”
