Finally

Finally, FINALLY, I’ve won a game!

Looking back, I’m stunned to see that Liz purchased The Royal Game of Ur for us nearly a month ago, in mid-May.

Since that time, I’ve lost every game. Every. Single. Game. It was like 6-0 or something around there, and it started to feel like a curse.

But! I’m happy to share that I’ve finally won a game! The race version is definitely exciting, and does keep things interesting up until the very end.

After my win, Liz has been looking into the more complex rules – to see about taking things up a notch. The version we’ve been playing is kind of the “kids’ version,” so it’ll be interesting to see what the newer variations are.
