Hop Along: Well Dressed

I had a spell last week of listening to Saintseneca’s excellent album Dark Arc, and in the process… slipped over into a recommended artist from Spotify. Hop Along has been around for a long while, but I’ve just come across their stuff. And “Well Dressed” really caught my ear.

It’s odd – there are these little moments where I got flashes of other artists: Janis briefly, Thao and the Get Down Stay Down, and even a snippet of Shudder to Think.

The band does a great job live, but I’m not sure if the NPR video translates exactly to what I heard, while listening on my computer. Maybe check out the recorded song itself.
