Beyond Expert

Dave Herr is a pretty amazing mountain biker. Joining in his discovery of a trail (marked “Beyond Expert”) is both terrifying and delightful, in equal measure.

I have to say – I love me a good helmet cam video. In addition to Herr’s skill, the joy in watching this video is also sharing his experience as the trail reveals itself to him.

It’s fun to listen to his thought process, and to also share in his excitement and glee, as he goes about the course. I’m really curious now how many trails there are like this out in the world, and who exactly sets about creating them for others to enjoy?
