Sad Cat Diary

Happened across a random post on MetaFilter, and was reminded of the fantastic Ze Frank.

I first came across his name back in the heady, early days of Flash (even before YouTube existed). One of the first ever “viral” things I ever saw was his “How to Dance Properly” instructions.

I can’t believe I’ve missed this, but came across Sad Cat Diary for the first time. So good. I was crying, laughing:

Dear Diary: I have been stalking an insect on the wall for the past three days, now. All of my attempts to capture it have been thwarted. However today, on further inspection, I found out the insect was in fact a thumbtack.

There is no logic in this place.

I’m a big fan of his Invocation for Beginnings. And there’s probably so much more material that I need to get familiar with.
